I planted my first vineyard in 1972 and founded the winery in 1977. I'm a pioneer for living and farming in a sustainable fashion, including the use of biodegradable resources, strict soil and water conservation and bearing a low carbon footprint. My private endeavor, Ingle Vineyard, which is located on the west side of Canandaigua Lake, has been a sustainably conscious farm and vineyard since the very first planting 37 years ago. Heron Hill will continue to utilize earth-friendly practices as world-class grapes are made into world-class wines.
