A Riesling of great purity, refinement, and potential longevity. The wine shows medium aromatic intensity with lime, lemon, green apple, flint, and grapefruit. The palate is light bodied with tremendous acidity keeping the fruit alive and intense while also balancing and refreshing. This all leads to a long citrus driven finish. This style of Riesling will do exceptionally well over the next 5-8 years in the bottle.
Food Pairing Notes
Such a wonderful wine with food. The crisp acids and rich fruit make this a dream at the dinner table. It could be paired with anything from Scallop Ceviche to Salmon Tartare, Roast Pork loin and grilled summer vegetables. It is also a wonderful aperitif to start the evening with some of your favorite friends (or hoarded…..no one will judge).
