Late Harvest Riesling Reserve scores 90 points

The Heron Hill 2006 Ingle Vineyard Late Harvest Riesling scored 90 points from Wine Spectator! Senior Editor, James Molesworth recently visited Heron Hill Winery and toured Ingle Vineyard with Winemaker, Thomas Laszlo. Molesworth says “Laszlo also releases wines later than most – the 2006 Riesling Finger Lakes Late Harvest Ingle Vineyard is outstanding, while the 2006 Riesling Finger Lakes Ingle Vineyard shows fresh lively acidity cutting through slightly mature lanolin and brioche notes.” Laszlo is a world authority on making dessert wine, he comments “In my 14 years of making dessert wines, the 2006 Riesling Reserve is the best Riesling Late Harvest I’ve ever made.”
