Wine Profile
Tasting Notes
A dark purple and powerful Baco Noir with plum, raisin, cranberry, and juniper on the nose. The palate is quite restrained for a Baco. It has greate density and a firm structure but the acidity while prevalent, is kept well in check for this variety. It is a bit of a beast of a wine with its power. This will be a great wine for the cellar up to 15 years.
Vineyard Notes
Grapes sourced from Doyle Vineyards on Keuka Lake
Food Pairing Notes
With Baco’ natural acidity this is a greate candidate for tomato based dishes. Think some basic pasta Pomodoro or even better, Bolognese. It will also be a great wine for cheese plates with sharp cheddars, pecorino or parmigina Reggiano.

Had a sampling of the wine in a blind tasting and it garnered high marks. I'm not a red wine drinker but the low tannlns make this an east drinking red. I went for one case to buying three in a couple of weeks since supplies are low. This 2020 vintage is a real keeper.
