Ingle Vineyard Tasting Room Riesling
In Stock
This two acre block is located right out of the windows at our Canandaigua Lake tasting room locating, thus making it a showcase vineyard where we put the extra effort into its tidiness and appearance. These are longer rows that are the furthest from the Tasting Room, closest to the lakes. Brightest and most austere of the block series wines, this pale straw colored wine shows intense aromas of lime, lemon zest, flint and green apple. The mouth is fresh and bright with perfect acidity and elegance.

91+ Robert Parker's Wine Advocate - Riesling Tasting Room 2020 – 90+ points – drink 2022-2034 - The 2020 Riesling Ingle Vineyard Tasting Room Block comes in with two grams of residual sugar, 9.75 of total acidity and 12.3% alcohol. The winery says that this is sourced from vines "planted in 2002 next to our Canandaigua Tasting Room on deeper loam soils, the Tasting Room block of Ingle vineyard." It is organically grown but not certified. Complex, very dry but always nicely balanced, this has a big finish with a touch of reductive nuances and slate. Its freshness enlivens the palate and it adds more than adequate concentration. This drinks fairly well now, but it certainly has some potential for improvement. I'd like to see it prove that in the cellar, so we'll be conservative just now.
Vineyard Notes
Planted in 2002 on the western side of the Finger Lakes on Seneca Point Road at the Tasting Room 900' elevation.
